Getting to Wadi Rum from Amman to Wadi Rum - by bus The quickest way to get to Wadi Rum is by Jett bus from Amman to Aqaba and then by taxi from Aqaba to Wadi Rum. The bus travels on the Desert Highway (Route 15) to Aqaba. The Jett bus does not stop at the turn-off to Wadi Rum. We can arrange a taxi to meet you at Aqaba and bring you to Wadi Rum. You pay the taxi driver directly, this is not included in your Wadi Rum tour price. You pay the taxi driver directly, this is not included in your Wadi Rum tour price. Arriving at Wadi Rum Visitor Centre
When you arrive at the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre, whether by bus, or taxi, or car, your guide will be waiting there for you. If you are delayed, or if many people are there, call Salem on 0(962) 772 059 643. Every visitor is required to pay the government fee of 5JD per person at the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre ticket office before you enter the Wadi Rum Protected Area. If you arrive by bus or taxi, you will go by jeep from the Visitor Centre together with your guide to Wadi Rum village and out into the desert for your tour. If you arrive by car, you will follow your guide's jeep to Wadi Rum village and leave your car in the parking area next to the Wadi Rum Rest House where it will be safe. From there we will travel by jeep through the village and out into the desert for your tour.
