Sleeping under the Stars

All our full day (or longer) tours, that include an overnight stay, have this option of sleeping directly under the stars. It is an amazing experience, and our visitors always tell us how much they love and will always remember it.

Price: 15JD extra per person per night for sleeping under the stars, as an add-on to your tour and overnight booking.  

It is a back-to-basics experience - there are no tents, and no bathroom or toilet facilities. 
​We travel to this site after dinner and evening around the fire at our main camp.
We provide mat and mattresses and blankets and you sleep directly under the stars. You are welcome to bring your own sleeping bag if you like. 

In the morning there is the chance to watch the sun rise. Afterwards we return to the camp in time for breakfast and then we take you back to Wadi Rum village for your onward travel.

• sleep under a star-filled night sky
• no bathroom facilities​
• water provided
• mattresses and warm blankets provided
• only offered as part of a tour and overnight option
• you will still have a tent allocated at the camp

What to bring:
Warm clothes, desert nights can be cool, even if the days are warm.
A headlamp or flashlight.
Sleeping bag (optional). 

Please note:

• ​Sleeping under the stars is not available on the night before your tour option, or as an overnight without a tour. ​
• It is very cold in the desert at night during winter and we do not recommend nor provide sleeping outdoors in the colder months. ​
